About Toffee Break Desserts: Handmade Magic
Toffee Break Desserts is a woman owned and operated company founded in 1998 by Robin Fields.
Robin has an extensive retail background specializing in the fashion industry. After having two children, the dreams of working in the fashion industry were put on hold so she could care for her family. However, she never sat still for long.
One evening while making desserts for a party, Robin decided to try her hand at making toffee. The toffee didn’t turn out quite how she expected. In an effort to dress up her mistake, she added the cookies n cream topping… which turned out to be the hit of the party.
Soon after, Robin began doing research and perfecting her much loved toffee. Before she knew it, there were four toffee flavors in her collection. Since then, with the help of her sister Shari, Toffee Break Desserts has expanded to a commercial kitchen in Northbrook, Illinois. Where today, we offer a full selection of Signature Toffee Flavors, along with many Toffee Specialties.
